SWITCHWORDS - How to chant TOGETHER

A tip from the founder of Switchwords, James Mangan.
Take a deep inhale, and while exhaling chant the word "TOGETHER" in a single breath, as many times as possible, the minimum number of times being 28.
Results are assured, but does not happen instantly. The organs start aligning themselves together, and then the personal life, then the professional life etc. Overall you start being in tune with the Universe, therby are in tune with your ownselves.
In the beginning the tongue twists and words are not very clear, but practice makes perfect.
Do this one for a minimum of 2 minutes, three times a day for better results. You may do it just once a day too.
Follow the chanting by sipping some water.
Do practice without a break for at least six months, and changes are amazing when you look back. Benefits are infinite.
Should I chant loudly or in whispers?
You can begin with an audible chant, slowly lowering the voice to a whisper gradually. Works any way you chant it!!

The all pervading Divine is the Creator of the Universe controls the Universe and He is the master of the Past, Present and the Future. He is the Creator, Sustain-er and Destroyer of all beings.  He exists in full splendor and is the essence of all beings and nurtures all beings.

This Shloka enables one to master oneself. The whole life revolves around various situations where we are always trying to win over situations or others, trying to control the movement of others. This attitude leads to poor health in the long run. Personally observed that those who try to control the movement of others lose control of their own physical movement in the long run. Life's all about moving with the flow. And that's exactly what this shloka can enable one to do. Flow with the flow of life by mastering your own self.

Ashwini Nakshatram 1st Padam.

How to use this shloka?

Listen to the Vishnu Sahasranamam daily in the morning and the evening. It is available on you tube, and M S Subbalaskhmi’s pronounciation is excellent and melodious. Listening to the same regularly and following the scriptures while listening will soon enable you to chant yourself.
After listening to the whole VS, then chant the above mentioned shloka designed specially for your nakshatra 11 times minimum.
You can offer to the deity in your altar flowers and leaves that appease Lord Maha Vishnu, Lotus, White Flowers, Tulsi leaves etc.

Light incense sticks before beginning the chants. Light a ghee lamp also if possible.
Start noticing subtle changes within yourself, your surroundings. The slow, soft subtle changes evolve into major life transformations very gently.
You will discover more ease within yourself. More peace within. Less discomfort experienced. Increase in patience, perseverance, precision, peace, positivity and prosperity are all part of you. You are part of the entire universe, and you are the entire universe, the universe in entirety gets connected to every bit of you and vice versa. Your life purpose becomes visible, clarity in every area is natural.
Just try it, become the words that you chant.
How does it get any better and simpler than this?
Life is easy, Life is effortless, Life is Simple, Life is full of Joy, Life is Happy

lokāḥ samastāḥ sukhino-bhavaṁtu ||
लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनोभवंतु
Advanced level of using the Shlokas
Going a step further to using the essence of timing for further benefits, do chant the SHLOKA designed for the Nakshatra of the day before chanting your own nakshatra. Chant this shloka 11 times minimum, this will enable you to merge with the energy of the day, and allow the vice versa.
There are 27 Nakshatras, and every Sunrise is emerging with energy of a
particular Nakshatra daily. So if you have a panchang, you can check – you may even do an online check of the days Nakshatra, and choose to read the Shloka designed for the particular Nakshatra of the day.
So, for example
If today’s nakshatra is Maham, and you belong to the Ashwini Nakshatra First Padam/Charan, then follow the following ritual :
First listen/chant the whole Vishnu Sahasranamam.
Then chant for your own Nakshatra – Ashwini.
Then chant all four shlokas of the Maham Nakshatra.

The best timing to chant the Shlokas.
The Vishnu Sahasranaamam is best chanted during the Brahma Muhurat. There is a magical silence, the sound of this silence has a vast, expansive effect on every individual.

When is the Brahma Mahurat?
Begins at 3.30 am and is a time when lung is functioning at its peak.

At what other time can the shlokas be chanted?
To bring in stability we see an auspicious time to make a start. Then once you master yourself, there is no binding of TIME & Space on you, You go beyond the clutches of time!! All time is good time!! All in good time!!

These can be chanted during the day. Avoid chanting during the nights. A good nights sleep is best for regulation of the breath!!

1.    Vishvam – The Universe
2.    Vishnu - All pervading.
3.    Vashatkaarah – Controller of the Universe
4.    BhootaBhavyaBhavatPrabhu – He who has mastered the time(past, present, future)
5.    Bhootakrit – the creator and destroyer
6.    Bhootabhrit – Sustainer of the Universe
7.    Bhaavah – He who exists in full splendour
8.    Bhootatmaa- The essence of all beings
9.    Bhootabhavanah – Nurturer of beings

1.  Vishvam – The Universe

Rooting from the word *'Vish'*, which means to enter or penetrate,  *'Vishvam'* means the Universe. , or all creation in totality. There is nothing in and around us that is not part of the Universe. In the Vishnu Sahasranamam, the Divine is termed as VISHVAM, since he is the creator of all creation.

Similarly, we are the creators of our own Universe, our family, our circle, etc. We create our own World.  This shloka helps evolve from the smaller world we have created to the huge unlimited creation of the Divine. Accessing our Divine consciousness, we are in tune with the Universe on the whole. Amazing feeling of expansion is what one feels when connected with this shloka.

2. Vishnu - All pervading.

The root word again being *Vish*, Vishnu describes the Divine as all pervading. He is into all and He is all.

Everything that exists in the Universe is nothing but of the nature of the Lord, and without Him nothing exists. He pervades everything, unlimited by space, time, or substance.

There is nothing that is amiss – you will be part of everything that is.

3. Vashatkaarah – Controller of the Universe
Vashatkaarah is derived from the root word Vash which means to control. Vashaat is a sacred sound like ‘Aum’ or ‘Svaahaa’ and is used before many mantras.
Divine is the mantra embodiement in this mantra.
Combination of six Divine attibutes –
1. Strenghth
2. Knowledge
3. Valour
4. Wealth
5. Poise  &
6. Radiance.

4. BhootaBhavyaBhavatPrabhu – He who has mastered the time(past, present, future)
Bhoota means the past, Bhavya means the future and Bhavat means the present. Prabhu means master. Lord Vishnu is the master of all time.
He who chants this mantra is free from the physical laws that apply to all living things. He is beyond the laws and constraints of time. He existed before the past and before the future, he is without a beginning or end, he is infinite.

5. Bhootakrit – the creator and destroyer
Lord Vishnu is the creator and destroyer of living beings. He destroys all beings at the appropriate time.

6. Bhootabhrit – Sustainer of the Universe
Lord Vishnu possesses Sattva Guna, and is the vital cause of the existence of everything on this universe. He is the bearer, protector, supporter and nourisher of all beings in this universe.

7. Bhaavah – He who exists in full splendour
This namah denotes independent existence through all dimensions i.e. to exist without needing another thing or being, to be all existence yourself. Enables the quality of self sufficiency with natural ease.

8. Bhootatmaa- The essence of all beings
The Divine is the soul that is present in every thing that exists. He has entered and is present within the deepest corners of our bodies and each an every object and being that exists in the universe. He resides within and controls and directs each movement and activity of ours and of all other forms of matter. And we are in constant aware of this Divine embodiment of ours when using this phrase. We are in tune with nature, and in the now,

9. Bhootabhavanah – Nurturer of beings
The Divine has created all beings and further nourishes and nurtures them towards growth.  And this attribute of the Divine seeded in our beings is expanded consciously into the unconscious, and enables ease in the life purpose.

Inculcating Fear

Conversation on Inculcating Fear

Is it necessary to inculcate fear into a person?

Does your doctor, therapist, astrologer or spiritual leader do that?

Is it better to avoid such people & stay away from a vicious cycle?

Radha Narayan 'Starts with parents Sudhaji!!!remember if you dont do this or dont eat this buchandi will come and eat you!!!'

Sudha Ambikadas 'YES, Radha Narayanan, absolutely agree. I need to work on myself first.'

Radha Narayan 'Sudhaji we all infact need to work on ourselves very very much infact we need to de-condition ourselves from the so very many conditioning levels we received/still are receiving from our elders -yes its an onion peeling we need to undertake on ourselves-painful but gainful!!!Divine thanks!!!'

Siddhika Umesh 'I second Radha, dear Sudha, everything stems from the deep conditions of our homes n we are trapped fr years with this fear, so mch so, that we keep raising families with the same feel, only the degrees may vary, cauz we say we are evolving, but our deep core is yet to be healed.
So lets step without feeling trapped and carrying guilt. Its all about freeing our souls n all the others are freed too! Love and Light!'

Kavita Panyam 'Sometimes awareness is perceived as imparting fear.....totally depends on individuals.'

Ritvika Naidu 'How can we use the information to understand our present state of affairs is how I would look at!!'

Questioning oneself
Is it better stay away from such people looking at it as a vicious cycle or get the information & tap into your awareness to see how you can overcome, and emerge a stronger being?
How can we get rid of the fears inculcated within us by our parents? Are we as parents following same patterns? If yes, how can we break free?

Mystical Formulae - Magic of Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam - Shloka 45

Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam
Shloka No.45

Nakshatra : Uttara Phalguni, Padam 1

RITUH SUDARSHANAH KAALAH PARMESHTHEE PARIGRAHAH I
UGRAH SAMVATSARO DAKSHO VISHRAAMO VISHVADAKSHINAH II45II

The Shloka No.45 of Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam has the following Namas or Names of the Lord. Each Nama or Name indicates a nature or characteristic, and chanting these Namas/Names helps you pull in those energies or BE the NAMA!!

417.    Rituh
418.    Sudharshanah
419.    Kaalah
420.    Parmeshthee
421.    Parigrahah
422.    Ugrah
423.    Samvatsarah
424.    Dakshah
425.    Vishraamah
426.    Vishvadakshinah

417.    RITUH - The Lord of TIME who governs all the seasons. Derived from the root ‘Rgati-Praapanayoh’ which means ‘to go’. Seasons move from one to another without interruption. The very essence of TIME is Seasonal, and when ONE is caught up in the race of TIME, just chanting these namas will absolve the obstacles created by TIME, and one can MOVE from one stage of life to another with EASE!! Blessed are we to understand the power of words, the power of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu, the protector.

Just as seasons are TIME bound, here we understand the DIVINE to be standing stable in the form of TIME., and just as one season pushes the other with an announcement of it’s arrival, similarly so all struggles we face is life have phases, we are phased out of to emerge into NEWness with every seasonal phase!!

This shloka is also used to empower one and the environment when faced with negative effects of the seasons like floods, fires, extreme colds etc.

418.    SUDARSHANAH – Very sight a delight!!

Just as one can imagine the delight when connected or given a chance to see the DIVINE in conscious presence, so also one would be delighted to see you whether they know about the richness of you qualities or not. Using this one can see through others very easily, remain unaffected, looking amazingly calm and composed, and beautiful expressive soft eyes like lotus petals. Others feel very comforted with your very presence! So when related to environmental healing, any place where this shloka is used becomes very pleasant!! Same way when chanted for welfare of the ENVIRONMENT, the weather becomes so pleasant, harmonious!! Such is the magic of the NAMAS of Sri Mahavishnu!!! Just as TIME spins through six seasons without interruption, the sudarshan chakra is revolving powerfully without any interruption. Using this shloka enables uninterrupted education, also allows ability to complete what one starts and MOVE ON to the next stage with EASE.

419.    KAALAH He who sets limits to everything.
Here in our day to day life one is well within control of themselves, are aware of their Being, know where to draw a line, ability to set boundaries. This helps is overcoming ADDICTIONS, Releasing the Unwanted by one’s own self. The increase in will power is automatically related to improvising the Adrenals strengthening, thereby aiding repair of all body parts. One will be able to use time well and go beyond limitations of time and space i.e., one will not be caught in the limitations of time bound astrology. He will not be run over by others, knows very well when to give it back to others who try to trample!! Is aware of contribution of others, and knows how to value an individual. And for those who reckon with the desire to cause calamity or misfortune, Kaalah becomes Gof of Death – here it does not mean kill, but one look is enough to kill the evil habits in those!!

420.    PARMESHTHEE  One who resides in the Supreme abode – Vaikuntha.
This literally means where ever the chanter resides becomes Heavenly Vaikuntha, and all ill effects of VASTU SHASTRA do not affect the residents. One who resides in the cave of hearts where the Divine resides within.

421.    PARIGRAHAH  He who absorbs all into him. Literally takes all along while MOVING forward, a true leader.

422.    UGRAH He is formidable
Predominance of unrighteousness makes one Ugrah, furious enough to annihilate miscreants. Will not be tolerant or suppressed by Adharma.

423.    SAMVATSARAH  - One in whom all beings reside.
Just as the blowing wind is present within the space, similarly the one here is contained with all those around him, he has equal love and affection for all.

424.    DAKSHAH  He is quick in action
Accomplishes all his work with great speed. This Nama Dakshah implies the qualities of Perfection, Precision, Strength, Quick Decisions & Actions, so fast that the opposition has no time to think or counter moves. Prompt, diligent and efficient in the action of Creation, Protection & Destruction, with readiness to help at all times under all circumstances, just like the Lord coming to the rescue of Gajendra.

425.    VISHRAAMO  He provides the Final Resting Place
The word “srama” means effort, while Vishraama means relaxation or rest. It means one gets things effortlessly, in a very relaxed manner. The person chanting this creates more with ease in life. In a larger perspective the person acquires Divine qualities of giving solace and comfort to those overworked. Dependable, completely reliable.

426.    VISHVADAKSHINAH He is the most skilled
All efficiency and skill in him, he becomes one who is completely the best at anything one undertakes. Focus effortlessly, bringing out the best in the individual, the best of anything and everything attempted!! Master of All

Shloka 26, Soundarya Lahari - Transform Enemies to Friends

NO MORE ENEMIES, Completely Vanquish all your enemies

26th Shloka of Soundarya Lahari
(Destruction of enemity - Enemies turn friends)
Virincih panchatvam vrajati harir apnoti virathim
Vinasam kinaso bhajati dhanado yati nighanam;
Vitandri mahendri vithathir api sammeelita-drsa
Maha-samhare smin viharati sati tvat-patirasau.
The creator reaches the dissolution,
The Vishnu attains death,
The god of death even dies,
Kubera the lord of wealth expires,
The Indras close their eyes one after one,
And attain the wake less sleep,
During the final deluge,
But you my chaste mother,
Play with your consort the Sadashiva

The chanting has to start on an auspicious day, during an auspicious yoga. The stars must favour the karta or the doer. The chants always work best when done by the self under the guidance of an expert.

When one is unable to chant, then we can have priests to work on the same, to complete the given number of chants on behalf of the karta. The prasadam naivedyam must be made in accordance with the requirement of the shloka and of the day.

You can contact Sudha on whatsapp for further guidance and organising priests for the ritual depending on the issue to be resolved. Contact +91-7021043343
